Markie Post is a noted American actor best known for her portrayals of public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Other than acting she has also worked on a number of game programs. As a child, she was brought up within Walnut Creek with her siblings as well as poet Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and played soccer. She was briefly a student at Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband from 1982. The couple has two daughters.
