Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. She inherited her father's interest in theatre from an early age. As a student at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force, and was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in the production of Betty Lou Bredemus. The two married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they had a break from the military and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. Walter started work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded by themselves. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter established the Actors and Writers Workshop. The program ran for 6 years. Within this period, they had two more daughters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
