Her training remained on the go until her family moved from Tennessee to Florida after a move from Tennessee. In the year 13 she began modeling and received various honors. She made her acting debut at the age of fifteen when she portrayed Brianna in the movie Holiday in the Sun. In Transformers she played Mikaela banes in the role of Shia LaBeouf. For this character, she earned a nomination to win an MTV Movie Award as well as three Teen Choice Awards. But it was her performance in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen sequel that brought her acclaim. The role also earned her Teen Choice Awards in two categories, specifically 'Choice Male Hottie as well as Choice Summer Movie Star Female. Fans also liked her role as Jennifer wearing Jennifer's clothes and she was awarded Teen Choice Awards for the categories of Choice Female Hottie, and Choice Movie Actress Horror/Thriller.
